Creme Brule Recipe

“Both Amanda and I aren’t huge fans of creme brule, especially Amanda, but this recipe that we got from our brother is amazing. We both love it. You will want a cooking torch to make this creme brule recipe.”

Creme brule

INGREDIENTS:

8 egg yolks
2 1/2 cups whipping creme
1/3 cup sugar
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

In a bowl combine egg yolks, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Bring whipping cream to simmer. Slowly wisk the hot cream into the egg mixture. Transfer to individual dishes. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes in a pan of shallow water. Cool in fridge. Lightly dust with sugar. Torch the sugar, but be careful to not burn it. Serve your creme brule recipe chilled.
