1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3/4 pumpkin pile filling
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 to 2 teaspoons milk


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. (180 C). Grease bottom of loaf pan. Combine flour, soda, salt and spices. Cream butter in a large bowl, gradually add sugar and cream well. Beat in eggs well. At low speed, add flour and pumpkin alternately, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour mixture into loaf pan and put in oven. Once finished cooking, take out of oven and glaze. To make glaze, combine remaining four ingredients and mix together. Let stand at least 6 hours before slicing.

Bake: 350 degrees 45 to 50 minutes, or until cooked.
